Invalid key error in installing Information Steward

Hi,

When installation, after entering license key, got the below error.

Error: Product Keycode is not valid. INS00140.

Any idea?

Willi,

Firstly make sure that the keycode from SMP is valid for installing IS.

Secondly, make sure if the keycode is valid for IS on IPS or BOE.

Thirdly, a new keycode is given for IS SP2 Patch 3, make sure if the keycode is valid for the Patch 2 or 3.
