websphere server instalation

hi guys,

here the problem is :

I installed websphere , while i am starting server ,it shows error msg

like make sure that server instance already started .........

again i uninstalled and installed , but again same problem.....

wat should i do to solve this problem.....

Hi Tony,

seems you already have a WebSphere Application Server installed, perhaps another version so there is an instance running.

Hi Tony,

After uninstalling websphere from your machine. There is file called vpd.properties in your windows folder rename and then try a re-install.
