Custom object link to PPM Item or cProject

I do not find Service Order (CRM) object link type in PPM which I need to link to either an Item or cProject.

Can I create custom Object link type to CRM system for that object. If so, what are the sugested steps.

Yes, you can define your own object link using the framework provided. You can take a look at the existing object link type definitions to get you started. There is also a how-to guide titled "How To Implement Object Links for SAP Portfolio and Project Management" which you can find in http://service.sap.com/instguides that provides detailed instructions.
