Hi All,
I am working an a check printing program using the SAP script. The user wants the most of the form output in the TIMES font and I understand that this is very normal and can be done easily. But for the MICR line I am using the MICR_E font. Everything appears OK at the print preview.
But for printing the form with correct MICR font we are using the TROYMICR device type and whenever I change the device type to TROYMICR for my desktop printer LOCL and check the preview the entire formatting is messed up. the actual print is also not right.
Any ideas why this is happening ? Can we not take TIMES font while using the MICR printing devices ?
Thanks for your suggestions and replies.

Hello,
Check the following SAP note:
94233 - Support of MICR font
You can also run a test via a print with the SAPSCRIPT standard text
'SAPSCRIPT-MICRTEST' from Client 000 via transaction SO10 to this
printer. Check if the MICR characters are printed. This will test your
device type and printer capability for printing MICR characters.
Regards,
David
