Geographical coordinates on APO location master

Can anyone clarify how the geographical coordiantes (longitude/latitude) are derived on the APO location master?

Hi,

The Geocoding program that you use and register for APO system (SPRO path: IMG>SAP NetWeaver>General Settings>Set Geooding) responsible for deriving the geographical coordinates. SAP System passes on all the address fields to the geo-coding program.You can define the relevant address fields using t.code SZGEOCD_GEOCDRLFLD (or SPRO task - Assign relevant address fields for Geocoding).
