Edit Sales Unit in Sales order

Hi,

I want to change sales unit of measure in Sales order item(next to Qty in SO) of partially dispatched qty.

that is uneditable mode.

how to edit that?

Why you want to change the UOM for a partial dispatched qty? I mean what is the reason??

You can edit the UOM as it is already dispatched so in this case you need to reverse the PGI for the delivery and then delete the Delivery after this you will be able to change the UOM.

I want to change UOM of pending qty and dispatch it again, same sales order

Hi Amol,

You cannot do that in this case you need to close the sales order and create a new sales order for the remaining qty. So in this new sales order you can give the UOM what ever.

Hi Amol,

You have work around to resolve issue.

1) You have 10 qty material in sales order and 5 is dispatched.

Then you cannot change the Unit then you change the quantity from 10 to 5 and create new line item with same material and add quantity as 5 with different unit. This will allow to deliver material with new sales unit.

This is workaround to resolve issue. Please check and reply.
