Inspection lot not appearing for production order in QE11

Dear Experts,

We have 41 qty in prodction order for finished products, in which confirmation done for 8 qty, inspection type we have set 03 in material master.

Now we want to reject 8 qty throgh QE11, but we are not getting quality inspection lot with reference to that production order, so that QE11 is not allowing us to go into the screen to reject that 8 qty,

We have checked  material master-inspection type is assigned as 03, Quality operation is assigned in Routing asl last operation for that finished material, Master inspection charecteristics are also assigned in routing with release mode,

we have observed that inspection lot is not avaiable in inspection tab in CO02 even after confirmation done in CO1F for 8 qty

We are not understanding why inspection lot is not getting generated although the above settings are available.

Can any one suggest what could be the wrong and is there any alternative way to put the stocks in rejection mode,

Activate and turn on the 04 inspection type for the material.  Make sure you have an appropriate inspection plan with the proper plan usage assigned to the material.

Inspection type 03 can also give the inspection lot after confirmation of last operation ( just before quality operation),

Issue has been resolved by following steps:

1) Cancelled the production order confirmation in  CO13

2) Goods reversal done w.r.to same production order number,

3) Go to Co02 >>Functions >> Availability check>>reset materials

4) Go to Co02 >>Functions >> Read PP master data >> continue

5) Go to Co02 >>Functions >>Inspection lot >> Create

6) Click on production order release flag and Save the production order

You will find the inspection lot number in production order header(Co02) in Assignment tab,

03 Inspection lot which is not stock relevant ,is created after release of production order.After confirmation you should have 04.if lot is not created after confirmation then you can create through MB31.If lot is created after Mb31 ,it means "Auto GR" setting is not active in PP customization.

Hello Raj,

What field-Control InspLot, is being setup for insp type-03 in material master ?

It should be "Early lot creation for the order item" so that system should generate an inspection lot immediately after prod order is released.

But if you want to have insp lot for GR production then you should use type-04.

Hope this will help. Revert with observation.
