SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 SP3 Trial Version for Linux - start of instance DVEBMGS42 stopped with problems

Hi experts,

trying to get running the linux trial version. ... and hope someone can help.

Starting with SAP MC, database and SCS00 starts up..

Instance DVEBMGS42 starts some processes successful (4 dialogs, 2 batches, 1 spool, 2 update, message srv connection ok, queue 0,0 ??)  but after 1 minute about the instance goes fail with status "disp+work stopped".

For further informations I'd attached some log snippets.

Hi Thomas,

As per sapstart.log Child 7310 (the ABAP dispatcher) terminated with Status 0. Please attach dev_disp trace, too.

The error is following (see dev_disp):

*** DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpMsAttach: local hostname 'nplhost' is resolved to loopback address (cf. SAP note 1054467 for details)

For solution refer to SAP note 1054467.

I got the same error when I tried to start this system 🙂
