Forward Auction in SRM 7?

Hello Experts,

Can you confirm if Forward Auction is available in SRM (LACWPS) 7 or if it's available in any current or future Enhancement Packages?

One of our clients was looking for this functionality in SRM Live Auction. And yes, I know this is an option in SAP Sourcing, but client is not interested in implementing a complete SAP Solution just for having the Forward Auction available.

As far as I know, the only predefined predefined auction profiles/transaction types are:

• English Auction
• Blind Bidding Auction
• Rank Only Auction
• Company Best Bid Auction
• Dutch Auction

If Forward Auction is not yet available in SRM/LACWPS 7, has anyone implemented this functionality as a custom development?

Hi,

You can define custom auctions in;

Path: SRM Server->  Cross-Application Basic Settings->  Define Transaction Types

We have not implemented Forward Auctions; instead we use ESourcing for the same.

I didn't see this yet in SRM 7.0 or 7.01.

I have heard that "forward auction" is available in ESourcing, but not in SRM.

Forward auction is available in Transaction type AUC5 : Dutch Auction in standard.
