Problem in Quotation while creating for material determination

Hello Expert,

I have maintained the condition record of material determination for X and Y material.

Here we are having a strange error at the time of Quotation creation:

While creating the quotation, I have put the X material at line item and then entered.

After first entered, I got an error " No Item Category material (Table T184 ZAG2 NORM PSA2 ZAGN)" and then after second entered error was not more

in the system

May anyone please let me why this is happening in case of Quotation not in case of sales order.

Check the item category Determination T-Code : VOV4 with those combination

I think you didn't maintained , try to maintained and check the new cycle

I have maintianed item category determination correctly for Quotaion as well as sales order.

But as I have explained, no problem in sales order creation.

I am facing a problem in Quotaion only and not in every case, only in case of Material determination and at first enter only.

Check the table T184 in SE16N

whether Entries is there or not I hope it is not there

and also check Are you using Usage Field ? if yes check in Customer Material Info Record VD51

Hi,

1. please check once again which item categories you have to assigned

QT   NORM   PSHP /PSEL     -              TAX

QT   NORM   PSA2               TAX          TAPS

2. you have to check the Material master ,which item category group is assigned.

3. You have to check the Document type to sales Area Assignment.
