Transfer Site Master data

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to transfer Site Master data ( WB01/WB02) i.e. whenever user creates a new Site or modifies a existing site, we want the data to flow from one system to another using IDoc. We tried BETMAS, but it isnt working. The Change pointers doesnt have BETMAS as well.

After searching on SDN forum, found that the only way is to use IMPORT/EXPORT (WBTI/WBTE). However we are looking for IDoc approach or any other approach.

Any pointers on this would be extremely helpful.

Thanks,

Best regards,

Prashant Patil

Hi Prashant,

the site master consists of three parts:

- Customizing: Site Master

- Master Data: Vendor Master

- Master Data: Customer Master

The standard way to transfer the "whole" site from one system to another is to distribute the customizing via transport management and the vendor/customer master via ALE/IDOC (CREMAS/DEBMAS). If you set it up, you could also automate it, when the changes, the user does, is at the master data parts (via change pointers). In standard, there is no way to automatically distributing the changes in the customizing part to another system.

Regards.

Tobias
