Hello guys,
I have a doubt about Stopping and starting Services in SAP NW 7.3 via SAPMNC, in the installAtion guide tells to read sap note 927637, but I guess this means that if you change permissions to sapstartsrv and sapuxuserchk let users to stop and start the SAP system via SAPMNC (http://hotsnamet:5SN13/sapmc), I dont' want that any user can stop and start services, only the administrator (SIDadm, ORAsid) using commands in HPUX or via SAPMNC (this ask user authentication)
I dont know if my thought is correct, Can anyone clear my doubt?
My system is HPUX.
Hi Andy,
I reckon this note is optional. If you don't want to change the permissions you can still carry out the activties by providng <sid>adm user/password. Now you can share these details only with authorized users. This is the default way of operating SAP MMC.
Regards.
Ruchit.
