Hi All,
We have to go for an upgrade from oracle 9.2.0.8 to oracle 10.2.0.4. I am following the guides and i have to unrar few files.But am unable to unrar it.Below is the one :
Initially i gave unrar of the 2nd file without full path and then tried giving full path, got the same error.Let me know any ways to get this out
./unrar-3.4.3-solaris10-sparc 51031673_part2.rar
ld.so.1: unrar-3.4.3-solaris10-sparc: fatal: libstdc++.so.6: open failed: No such file or directory

Hi All,
the unrar utility file is not present in solaris OS.So, i have downloaded the unrar utility from RARlab.com and i was able to unrar all the files successfully.

You cannot extract these file in Linux/Unix platform. Please follow the steps Suggested by Steve SOUMAH.

Hello,
There should be a .exe file along with the rar part files.
You have to execute this exe file, which will extract the RDBMS on your workstation, and then transfer it through ftp or ssh to your unix host.

Hi Ram,
Navigate to the location of your .rar file and try to run
unrar e file.rar
The above command will extract file.rar file into the current directory.

it seems you have problems with the RAR executables.
Have you tried to unrar the RAR archive on your laptop, and then copy via FTP the unpacked DVD?
