Network Scheduling

Hi

Can any one explain step by step of network scheduling.

User has been created number of networks,in one project,now its all networks are released,is there any solution to me to make single network.

Hi,

Network scheduling is the process of calculating the dates when the activities assigned to networks should be performed. If the user has created several network activities, it is still possible to schedule them and plan dates for project separately. If for some reason only one network should be used, then if network status allows that, you may still delete the networks that are not needed and create all activities under one network header.

You can connect all your project networks by connecting activities. Then you can shedule all of them. Everything depends if you have any posting if not you can correct it easily. But there is no option to create one network from several networks.

Explaining the step by step process of network scheduling would be practically impossible to do in this forum. How a network needs to be scheduled depends entirely on your business scenario. If you want to know the basic concepts of scheduling, which involves WBS as well as Network scheduling, please refer SAP Help.

I dont think it would be possible to make a single network in your project where the user has created number of networks and that too the networks are released. Are there any postings done on the project which has these networks? If not, then maybe you can scrap this project and create a new one with just one network. There are other work arounds but they are not safe as there is high possibility of human error.
