Hi All,
I am getting the below errors while closing the project.
1.Error when processing asset under construction (AuC) for WBS element
ABCDEF
Message no. CJ 824
2. You cannot deactive asset 12345 0. (Please check.)
Message no. AY 109
Diagnosis
The asset 12345 0 in company code 1212 cannot be deactivated. Values exist for the asset.
You probably tried to give an order or a WBS element the status "Close", or to set a deletion flag. However, since the order or WBS element is a capital investment measure, you first have to credit (clear) the accompanying asset under construction 12345 0.
System Response
The function cannot be carried out.
Procedure
First, completely settle the order or the WBS element. In addition, carry out a full settlement, in order to clear the asset under construction. Then you can carry out the desired function.

Nandha
Hello Nandha,
Yes, I think the system is worked correctly.
Please see the following information in regarding to the situation
why Message AY109 (and often also CJ824) is issued:
1. Message CJ824
The message indicates a problem processing the AuC.
Note 326771 explains why this message appears.
However the message can be output incorrectly and I recommend
you to see SAP notes 588543 and 592463.
2. Message AY109
This message is being output correctly as the AuC still has
values against it.
These values must be cleared before you can close the WBS element.
Please do a FUL settlement against the WBS element to clear
these values and then try to set the CLSD status again.
There are two ways to 'clean' the AuC, so that you can deactivate it
and close the WBS element:
->Post a manual retirement of the AuC to clear it.
->Create a new AuC and use it for all the differences in the final
settlement.
I hope this could be helpful to you.
Regards, Gordon

The error is self explanatory. You need to first settle the costs on the WBS to the AuC and then you need to settle the AuC to the Fixed Asset. Once this is done you should be able to close the project.
