Sales Order Costing - Fixed Cost Problem

hihi, everybody..

I am working on a client issue of sales order quotation costing with no quantity structure and no work center.

Where is the price for Activity Type set in this situation??

The costing result shows costing by units for one material but costing by fixed amount for another material.

Is there somewhere in SD configuration where different costing approach is set for different materials??

I never took the SD course.

Yes, I can see the assignment of cost center to the sales order can make the cost component split creates a specified cost approach for the activity price.

But I am still confused by how the different materials pick up activity price without assignment to cost centers currently.
