Blocking order, when customers' sales area is flagged for deletion

Hello Experts,

Some customers' sales area have been blocked. Even though deletion flag is set for a customers' sales area, the order can be still entered ( with a warning message). Is there a way to block such transactions for a customer sales area flagged for deletion?

Please suggest.

Hi Deepa,

if you want to block the sales order particular customer goto XD05(or VD05) and assign the blocking reasons to  order block tab.

Than create the sales order with the same sold to party and sales area what you mention above step.Now system come up with error massage .

Hi Deepa,

This is standard SAP behaviour. The message will only be a warning message for customers with deletion flag.

If you want the order block for such customers, then you have to set the block in VD05. The system checks blocking data before the deletion flag, so if you have blocked the customer in VD05 then the user will receive an error message.
