Reg-Notification & Defect Codes

Dear All,

          Am new to this SAP-SCN forum.Recently am working in SAP EHP5.0 QM Module iimplementation project ,since our company adopting for Change Management with SAP.

           In QM Module while definig Characteristic,defect codes & notifications are not raising eventhough we've mentioned in Indicators.Notifications are not raising in Development server where as it's raising in Test Server.

          Could anyone guide this issue?/

Dear,

put tick mark on defect recording for mic

and also maintain in tcode qs41 for ex

catalog type 2

catalog:Length(code group)

Code

A001 Length is Long

A002 Length is short

so if the Result recording falls out of spec it will propose you to another screen Where code & code group can be selected,valuate and save so notification will get raised for corresponding mic.

Hi Sankaran,

Seems that you have ticked on defect recording in control indicator of MIC. Hope you must have defined proposed defect codes also in case MIC crosses lower or upper limit.

Which transaction you are using? Whether defects are not getting recorded in system?
