PR creation option not coming after attaching a material to activity

Hi Experts,

When i am attaching material to network activity, i am not getting pr creation option to select. It is directly creating reservation without asking any option.

I have maintained the Pur\res option ( For release) in network profile.

Please let me know what could be the problem?

When you attach the material to an activity what is the item category that you choose? Is it N or L? If you want system to create a PR for tha attached material please use the item category N. You can also check the MRP tabs in the material master to check whether individual or collective requirement is maintained there.

Hi,

In case you want PR directly, assign the material as non stock 'N' and not as stock 'L'

this may be due to the procurement indicator assigned in network profile.Check procurement indicator used in n/w profile and what are settings done in it.
