Hammock tasks in cProjects / PPM 5.0?

Hi,

is it possible to create a hammock task within cPro/ PPM 5.0?

A hammock task e.g. is connected with one milestone before the task and one milestone after the task has been completed. If I postpone the milestone after the task, I would like that the system automatically extends the duration of the task (without craeation of a between the task and the second milestone).

Hi,

Hammock was used in P3.

In Primavera6 (or latest), I would assume, 'Level of Effort' activity is used in place of Hammock. For which standard relationship/scheduling logic might work with/without enhancement.

If you are referring 'Milestone' activity of P6, pl try using task with 'milestone' flag. Try using finish-finish relationship. BAdI enhancment will help as well!

Unfortunately, this feature is not available in the current PPM solution, neither in 4.5 nor in 5.0 release
