Sum of quantities > 40< smaller than total quantity

Hello Experts,

We have SRM 4.0 classic scenarion.

The Sc has been created with distributing cost by Quantity to 160 assets.

Now, once the Sc is ordered its in status: 'Error in transmission' with error as: 'Shopping Cart XXX(Purch. requisition YYY): 06410 Sum of quantities >40<smaller than total quantities.

I have checked few threads but none had any specific solution.

1. Is there any SAP limitation to number of lines/items to which cost could be distributed?

2. is there any note to resolve this? if there is its on SAP side or SRM side?

Hi Dhananjay,

As I could see from your description, your accounting lines have a total quantity of 40 and the item has 160.

Have you checked if the sum of the quantities in the accounting lines are equal to item's quantity?

Also please check if the Accounting Index (ACC_NO) is correct.
