I have setup a mini sap Basis system on my Lap.
when I try to logon with a user already created I got this error message
received a message from your sap system NSP
E:no logon possible
(no hw ID received by mssg server)
I don't know really how to fill the fields listed bellow:
-system ID:
-Message Server:
-Sap Router for:
after that I have to push/select the button GENERATE LIST
does anybody has already got this matter.
I had this problem. I noticed in my SAPMMC (Console) my process list was status yellow also.
A change I made was in "start>settings>network connections"
My "Microsoft Loopback adapter" was enabled but not connected.
Steps I took and it now works are:
- rebooted
- Added the "Microsoft Loopback adapter" to the bridge by right clicking on the adapter and choosing "Add to bridge"
- started application server through menupath
- looked at console and lights were green
- started up the gui and i am able to log-in.
Hope it helps.

Hi Adolphe,
Check your OS services(C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc) file . It might be missing message port entry , which looks like
sapms<sid> 36xx/tcp where <sid> is your system id here NSP
xx is your system number ( like 00 or 01 etc )
Thanks
Prince
