Hi Group,

We are trying to place the file in  Windows group shared folder using FTP in receiver adapter,we are getting the below error,

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: ConnectException: A remote host refused an attempted connect operation.

This is working fine when we "ftp"ed from local desktop, but from PI it is throwing error:can any body suggest.

Regards,

Rajiv

Make sure that the ports are open with the FTP server.

Goto the command propt of your PI system and type telnet <ftp ip address> 21

If you get a return value then the port is open

It's not the problem with PI. Your Target FTP server is not allowing to create new pool resource (new connection), get in touch with your FTP vendor.

It might be possible that firewall settings on FTP server are not allowing the connection from SAP PI. Please ask FTP server support person to check the firewall settings of FTP server.

you have to check below points with technical persons/basis  :

1) Receiver server FTP port 21 is open.

2) FTP user id and password is correct.

3) The folder is having all access.
