Escape for approver not found and provisioning fails

Any thoughts how to setup escape for approver not found and provisioning fails. Have you created own path for escape routines?

I have two paths. One for EAM and one for ARQ. BRF+ is used for initiator.

Hello Jarmo,

You can create "ROUTING rule" using BRF+ and have a rule result set defined for it .

Include this rule to the Stages from where you want to have the option of "escape for approver not found & provisioning to be successful".

Note this escape route has to be mapped to some other stage which has no "APPROVAL stage or rather empty stages" so that it directly completes the path and goes for provisioning.

You will have to include this routing rule in stage 2 , stage 5 and stage 6 of MSMP.

Hope it helps !!

Regards,

Victor

You don't create a routing for the Escape Routes.  You need to enter them into the Global Process Settings.  You do need to create a Path, then you can enter the path name into the bottom of the Global Process Settings screen.  Don't forget to activate the escape routes.

Thanks.

What do you mean with activating escape route? We have created escape path and Global Process Settings are adjusted accordingly. But followoing happens. Workflow envokes escalation path every single time. Super user access request is routed correctly to owner for approval. Additionally escalation  routes request for approval to escape agent. This happens in approval path. Now owner appoves and workflow goes  to escalation path and escalation agent again receives the same work item. Strangest is that approval escape route is not activated. Only provisioning fails. There should be no escalation phase for approver not found in our setup.
