ZMHF not closing corresponding ZMCR - 7.1

Hi all.

I have configured Solution Manager 7.1 EHP4 with sap recommendation i have copied SMCR and SMHF to customer namespace Z*

now!

When im creating ZMHF from ZMCR, after closing ZMHF, ZMCR status doesn't change to "Implemented"

Is there some additional configuration or customization???

Plz help me.

Hi.

you need to define status attributes for the status to change automatically after you close SMHF.

in the status attributes, you need to define the status of ZMCR according to the status of ZMHF.

the  SPRO link is in

IMG-->SAP solution manager-->capablities ( optional)-->change management-->standard configuration--> change request management framework--> define status attributes.

I have specified status attributes for E0008 ( ZMHF - Confirmed ) - >

Specify Status Setting for Predecessor Documents - >

Here i saw that i have

SMCR    SMCRHEAD    E0005

copied to

ZMCR    SMCRHEAD    E0005

and it worked!!!!

Sorry to bring up an already answered thread. However, I have the same issue.

But it seems that "Define Status Attributes" in SPRO has been REMOVED. I am on Solman 7.1 SP8

Any idea why this was removed and where can I find it now?

I've got the same problem. It seems as "Define Status Attributes" is no longer available with SM 7.1 SP8. What can help me out?

thanks but i saw this before and there aren't showing what happens with Request for change after Ugrent Change closing.

Everything works fine when im using standard transactions like SMCR and SMHF.

But not works with Z*....

Hi Dan,

Please check the action SET_PREDOC for particular user status.it help to change the status from ZMHF to ZMCR.

Please compare the S* and Z* action adn check it.

closing the Correction doesnt close CR

because you have the capability of extending scope or there can be mulitple change document or corection for the same CR and therefore change manager has to close the CR separately

Ok then here is 2 situation i can't understand.

1) If i use standard SMCR and SMHF, after closing SMHF

  a) SMCR automatically sets status to

      E0005    SMCRHEAD    Implemented

  b) I have action "ZMCR_CONFIRM" in ACTIONS button, so i can confirm SMCR or EXTEND.

2) Case im doing the same with my ZMCR and ZMHF but there is no status changes in ZMCR and only two actions: "Check request for change" and "Extend scope".... so i can't confirm it...
