Use of export data sources in APO SNP

We are using APO SNP, and want to extract data from an SNP planning area via export data sources for certain aggregates.

If the planning area is changed (eg new key figure added), do we then need to change the export data source so that it is consistent with the changed planning area?

Do we do this by changing the data source via trans /SAPAPO/SDP_EXTR? Or do we have to regenerate the data source?

Since a new key figure is added to the planning area (and/or added to the existing aggregates), it is required to repair the data source using t.code /sapapo/sdp_extr. No need to regenerate the data source.

• Repair the data source
• Change the data source to select or hide the field
• Check the data source for any inconsistencies
• Test it

However, you need to repair all the downstream BI objects that are associated with your data source.
