Dear All,
I am new to PI. We have PI 7.1 in our landscape. I am searching in SDN for a complete walk through for exposing PI outbound service Interface as web service but somehow not able to find it. Can some one explain the steps for creating web service in PI 7.1 after creating outbound service interface in ESR.
Thanks in advance,
Vasu
Hi,
After you complete the whole scenario and ESR, you need to prepare the ID part (sender & receiver agreements, communication channels, interface & receiver determination). Once you have it done, right-click the sender agreement and choose Display WSDL option, then save the .wsdl as a file and deliver it to the party responsible for the sender system.
Regards,
Greg

Hi Vasu,
If you want publish the outbound interface in Service registry then your sender adapter must be SOAP/WS .Only this type of interfaces you can publish as a web services.

There are two ways we generate webservice . One is using sender agreement as previous expert pointed out. The other way is as described in the wiki. You might able to see the screenshots and get idea about the whole sequence of steps for creating sender web service scenario
