Rule Based Availability Check:
Objective:
To carry out Rule Based Availability Check considering Location substitution with 2 plants - A and B
Following are the steps which are done:
In this activity, you determine the
following activation parameters to determine the rule strategy:
• Technical scenario
• Business transaction
• Action type
7. Rule Maintenance.
Inclusive,No restrictions, Substitution (Location Product)
For the location determination procedure,
we have defined a list of locations (A and B). During the availability check,
SAP APO takes all listed locations into account. If the requirement cannot be
fulfilled in the original location (A), it is substituted by one of the
alternative location(B).
Access strategy of the substitution list :
8. Creating Condition type link to condition tables
for Plant A and B with { Sales Organization,
Plant Sold to Party } and RULE DEETERMINATION
Problem :
After completion of above process when I created Sales order and click Availability
check icon the screen moves to APO refer attachment without confirmation of available Qty from Plant A and alternatively
from Plant B.
If we click Check instruction--- Check Mode and Business
Event combination screen is displayed having RBA activated
If we click Rule –Rule evaluation – click start evaluation
--- the 2 Plant A and B are displayed.
If we click Rule Determination – Rule strategy sequence link
access sequence link condition table.
Final conclusion is that Result for RBA output not displayed.
Hi,
for me it seems that no substitution is found during the ATP check. The root cause can just be found via debugging as the setup seems to be fine. I can just recommend to raise a message at SAP to get a detailed analysis. sorry.
best regards,
Michael
