Yes,

it permits br-tools to write execution results and logs to the dbacockpit tables (SDBA*).

Just open sapdba_role.sql in a texteditor to see the corresponding GRANTs

Thank you first of all.

So if this role is assigned to a user, the user is not able to perform any kind of changes in the DB except execution of sap BR tools?

Dear Kobi,

You have to follow blew note:

SAP Note 134592 - Importing the SAPDBA role (sapdba_role.sql)

download the relevant file from these

sapdba_role_ora9.SAR

sapdba_role_ora10.SAR

sapdba_role_ora11.SAR

uncar the required file and past in any drive. If your schema is SAPSR3 then you just need to run following command.

sqlplus /nolog @Path of sapdba_role_sql SR3

exp:
sqlplus /nolog @Drive Letter:\sapdba_role.sql SR3

after above step, I hope you will not face any issue regarding user.
