data migration issue

we are trying to import customers from legacy to our new system as our two companies having same sales org. there are some common customers in both companies so we already imported customers for first company and we are trying to import customers to second company it is saying some of customers are already existed.this is because of both companies having some customers and they already imported to new system from company one. But these same customers had different sales info but having same sales area hoe to solve this. how to import them to our new system

Apart from the specifics concerning different sales info and sales areas, it is possible to use/create a single customer for 2 different company's (company codes).

Please take a look at Tx: XD01. Specify the same customer number and different company code.

per technical understanding you would use the LSMW , IDOC or BAPI options...
