I've made up selt test for Solution and I get information - No RFC connection to the Solution Manager set up in the WRT SDCC. I've at satellite system connection to SM and it is configured in sdccn. Why SM doesn;t see this connection, how can I solve this problem??
Start of data capture for system 'WRT':
Get clients for system 'WRT':
Read with RFC destination 'SM_WRTCLNT000_READ': Exception 'convert_error' raised
but
Get software components for system 'WRT'
Get clients for system 'WRT'
Get server and instances for system 'WRT'
are OK

Hello Damian,
Do you have the required SP level at the satellite systems as stated in the configuration guide?
Could yopu please in SMSY delete the generated RFC, and run the RFC creation wizard again? someting must be wrong with READ connection. I can not find similar reported issues by other customers.
Best regards,
Dolores

I've made all changes and I've got no idea what is going on. Satellite system SAP_BASIS 620 patch 0058.

HI
Whats your basis release , if its 4x/rx its better to use SDCCN. Apply the latest ST-PI and activate SDCCN , check note 763561 for more information. Once you activate SDCCN , make sure that you have RFC connection to Solution Manager, its name will be SM_<SID>CLNT<Client no.>_BACK .
THen go to SDCCN --> Goto --> setting --> Task specific , on next screen under Session Data Collection ---> RFC Destinations --> settings --> make sure that you can see two rfc connections ( newly opened window ) one to connect to SAP and one to Solution manager , else you have to add it there .
then comming to Solution manager system , SMSY --> Enviornment --> solution manager operation --> Administration SDCCN --> Make sure that you see your child system there , else add it. You can also Run/activate SDCCN in child system from here.
Thanks
Prince Jose
