Dynamic wp parameters not available in 7.20 system

Hi,

We've recently upgraded all our system kernels (7.00, 7.01 etc.) to 7.20.

I can't seem to find the parameters below as per Note 1636252 on the new 7.20 system (RZ11):

rslg/new_layout = 9

- Dynamic work processes (AS ABAP and Dual-Stack systems)

o rdisp/wp_no_restricted = 0

o rdisp/configurable_wp_no = 0

o rdisp/dynamic_wp_check = FALSE

The SM21 log is fine..these parameters should ideally be available in the 7.20 system, but none of them exist.

Please advise..

Hi,

i suppose you should expect this behaviour if just upgrade the kernel, and not the whole SAP System to a more recent version.

The note itself says "However, this function is not fully compatible with lower ABAP versions".

Have you tried yo just add the parameters in RZ10?

Thank you..

That's precisely my doubt..would adding these "unknown" parameters via RZ10 take effect..since only the kernel is 7.20 & not the whole system..
