Hi, IdM friends!
When I enter a phone number in the UI of IdM 7.2, it is showing up mis-formatted in the ADTEL table when IdM calls the RFC function IDENTITY_MODIFY in our HCM system (ECC 6.0 EhP 5). If, In the IdM UI, I enter "775-448-1234" (without the quotes, of course) I end up with an ADTEL entry with "775" in the field TELEPHONE and "448-1234" in the EXTENSION field. if I enter it in IdM as "(775) 448-1234" I end up with "448-1234" in ADTEL-TELEPHONE and the "(775)" no where to be found.
Has anybody experienced this mangling of phone numbers between IdM and IDENTITY_MODIFY? Has anybody found a way to make it stop?
Thanks,
TerryB
What happens if you enter it simply as 7754481234? If that works, you can then have a script that re-formats it. Sometimes that will do the trick.
Good luck!
Matt

Hi Terry,
I've not dealt with this problem before but it sounds like a defect.
