Approver Delegation in AC10

Hello,

I am testing out the approver delegation capability in AC 10.

From my understanding the approver delegation basically means that the delegated approver can approve all requests which would have been approved by the initial person responsible.

I have configured Approver delegation and the link to change delegation also is showing up in my screen but when I open the request it doesn't give me submit button.

I tried various scenarios

1. I am an approver on GRC for different roles but not for the roles in the request delegated to me and I wasn't able to see submit button.

2. I made myself backup approver to the roles for which the request was delegated and even then I wasn't able to see the submit button.

There is no major configuration also,so just wanted to check if anyone had any luck or how to get around this issue.

Hi Uday,

This issue exists till SP08.

Implement SAP note:1713273 to resolve this issue.

You might need to implement 1634002 based on the netweaver version.

Thanks Venakata.This fixed my issue.Appreciate the help.I think SAP should make this a primary note for Approver delegation fix.
