Customer class characteristics

Hi

Can any one  tell what is  customer  class  characteristcis and how  does it get  updated.

Hi Ajit,

customer  class  characteristics contains the details of customer details such as reseller status ,packaging option,approval id ,email reference and first order date.These characteristics will differ from depending on the products ,services of the company to which customer belongs.

In XD02/XD03 transaction ,goto extras-->classification ,there will maintain customer  class(CL01 is the transaction to create class )and class type.You  can create characteristics of of customer in CT04 transaction.You can update these characteristic using LSMW or BDC or BAPI.
