SSO between SAP BI and BO4.0

Hi ,

We are trying to implement single sign-on between SAP BI 7.3 and BO4.0 and followed steps mentioned in the below weblog

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/How+to+setup+SSO+against+SAP+BW+with+SAP+BO+BI4.0+Common+S...

We could import roles and users assigned to the roles in BO and can access to BI Launch pad using sap credentials but when logging in to IDT for opening SAP session with sap credentials ( last step in the weblog)  for creating OLAP Connection with SSO option, system is giving error message "This system rejects all logons using SSO tickets on " bi application server name" sysnr 00.

Any help on the issue would be appreciated.

Thanks & Regards

UDAY

Uday,

Check in RZ10 that you have set the SSO-parameters in the instance-profile:

login/create_sso2_ticket = 2

login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1

Do not forget that these parameters are only activated after a restart of your system.

Kind regards,

Hello Uday,

What happens when you use hardcoded username and password instead of SSO option?

Thanks,

Hi Vikram,

when trying to  Insert session against repository by using SAP Authentication in IDT, session is connecting and disconnected immediately (closing session) but when tried with hardcoded values also getting same error message.

I am suspecting this behaviour because of insufficient rights!

Can you add that user to the administrator group in CMC(for test purpose) and then test the same?

I guess you should give that user rights over connections, folders and universes e.t.c
