Hi SAP Fan,
are you using Mozilla or IE? Because Mozilla is listed in the bug...Does it work in the other browser? Then it is a browser-specific issue which would be Web UI Framework.
best regards,
Michael

Ha, just got a workaround from my colleagues...
Set User parameter AI_CRM_TXTEDIT_HTML to initial, try this!

Thank you very much!
Deleting parameter AI_CRM_TXTEDIT_HTML from the table in transaction DNO_CUST04 solved our problem with browser screen blocking and freezing.
Please duplicate this workaround in my thread Popup window blocks the screen (SM 7.1 SP5) for me to mark it as answered.
P.S. SAP Fan, try to make the same and tell us will it solve this problem?
Beside the workaround. SAP Note 1771771 should solve this issue.

Axel

Hi all,
sometimes we have similar problem with other pop-ups when we try to change Installed Base Component during creation of a new incident in CRM_UI. After several attempts this pop-up grow on the whole screen and we can not return to our message creation. We need to log off and log on.
So I think this is something like a bug...

Hi SAPFan,
I do not believe it an authority issue because you came already from the main UI and return to it. From my experience (I am developing ChaRM standard) normally CRM Web behaves just like that if you miss authority for an UI and click on a link which opens it up, just nothing happens.

Michael

Hi guys, does this occur only with the action scheduling assignment block? If yes and the other pop ups are fine, I would assume it a bug maybe (this is CRM standard functionality).

Michael

Hi,
not sure, might be authorisation issue
Try to give te role SAP_SUPPDESK_ADMIN_COMP (full auth for incident management), make sure profile has been created for the role.
And goto su01, take your user, in the parameter field add the new parameter' ID CRM_UI_PROFILE and Parameter value as SOLMANPRO
And try again.
Thanks,
Jansi
