Products and SCV

Hi,

I have a scenario where SAP will be sending IDOCS and PI will be sending those as files to third party via FTP.

I need help in the initial creation of Products,Software Componenet Versions, namespaces.

What kind of naming convention should i follow in Software component version?

Since it is a third party, will i be able to create products and create SCV based on product?

Normally we used to start development when the basis creates the namespace and SCV. 

It will be good if somebody can throw some light on from SLD part.

Source: SAP R/3

Target: ABC Vendor (Third Party)

Hi Krishnan,

Please refer below document,naming convetion depend on client standards ,but usually we use bussiness name/region in SWCV.

You can create Products/SWCV for 3rd party.
