Hi Saras,

see if the queue goes to 0, then afterwards it will not have any effect on posting of data. But suppose initally you have some messages in queue, then you activated the queue, then the queue stack went to 0, then it means all the pending messages were sent from XI......so the messages meant for R/3 will reach R/3...So if you have some scheduling program at R/3 which stops the IDOCs from getting posted, then these IDOCs will be in wait status at R/3 otherwise these IDOCs will be posted in SAP R/3.

Thanks,

the queue will be usefull to store the messages. if some thing goes wrong like you didn't keep file in delete mode while defining file communication channel queue will overflow and shows errors.

Queue stack going to 0 is good because it means that its going smoothly. If there is any problem/error then queue stack will be growing which is not a good sign.

So, in your case, you are doing fine and it will not affect the posting of data.

Your requirement is not very clear.

If I understood you correctly, you have registered the queue and activated the same and all the entries are processed. Now there are no entries in the queue. You need to know will it affect the messages that are yet to come.

If so, the answer is NO :-).

nope it will not affect. if the stack keep on increasing then vitaly it means the data is q'ed up cause of some errors.
