hi all,
I have installed SAP HANA Studio Revision 26 (32 bit Windows) on my desktop.
now i want to connect my SAP HANA Server to BODS 4.0.
but since ODBC Driver is missing and HDBODBC32 is not appearing in the ODBC Datasources Administation,
I am unable to make a ODBC data source for SAP HANA.
Can anyone help me out.
thanks
Hi,
Replying here for those that are still reading your post as a result of a Google search.
Just uploaded a video to the SAP HANA SPS 08 installation playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whQTt0guROA&index=7&list=PLkzo92owKnVzjry75ID3mydr6VGX2Ul9M
In this video, I address the ins and outs of ODBC on Windows. Since SPS 02, ODBC also has been documented in the SAP HANA developer guide (chapter 13).

Hello,
Hana Client 32 bit ODBC drivers are not visible in ODBC area. You can check this with office analysis.

Have you installed the HANA client on the BO DS computer? If not you need to install the HANA client.
For ODBC drivers, if not listed, you might need to invoke it from %windir%\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe if you are running a 64-bit OS.
