Export mapping to excel

Hi,

May be this not possible, but looking for the ways to export all fields mapping to excel.

like what source feild is mapped to what target feild.  is there any way to get that?

Hi Baskar,

If you ask me, this thread gives nothing even close to the answer to the quesion asked. The topic discussed there was how to read an Excel file with File adapter, or write an Excel file with File adapter. And what Prema Boodi asks about here is how to export the mapping definition to an Excel file.

Hi,

You can't really export to Excel, but you can export to a text format that you could transform further in Excel or anywhere else, according to your needs. In your message mapping, there is a "Text Preview" button that I marked red below:

The mapping text description covers source and target fields, as well as functions used in particular mappings. An example mapping in a text format looks like that:

thanks Greg. Yes i had this text file. but i was not able to put it in excel. again i have to copy paste manually.
