How to map this business process.whats inspection type we maintain, how insp lot will trigieer and so on...
Thanks
Hello QMUser123,
This is a standard SAP process with inspection type-10.
As similar to other inspection types, you need to maintain all the required master data like sampling procedure, MIC, methods, inspection plans etc..
1. create sales order (VA01),
2. creae delivery (VL01N), here a inspection lot with typ-10 will be created
3. process inspection lot, record RR, complete UD (QA32)
4. once UD done, you can do Goods Issue to delivery (VL02n)
Depending upon your business requirement, you can print Certificate Of Compliance (CoC) and sent it with delivery to customer.
Hope this will help.

Anup

You can also create a QM in SD record (QV51/QV52) that can control the inspection type 10 inspection. This controls if the inspection 10 requires a UD before you can PGI the delivery or if you can do the UD after shipment. If you select "by customer" in the record, no inspection lot is generated.

Hello QMUser123,
Config settings for CoC or Coa is as below:
Just get requirement/template from business about CoC/CoA... then complete below config:
1. Maintain Certificate Profile as per your reqmt (SPRO > QM > Quality Certificates > Certificate Profile > Define Certificate Types)
2. Define Condition Types for Output Determination (SPRO > QM > Quality Certificates > Output Determination > Define Condition Types for Output Determination)
3. Output Determination Procedure (SPRO > QM > Quality Certificates > Output Determination > Output Determination Procedure > Edit Output Determination Procedure)
Once config is done, create a cert profile (QC01) and assign required characteristics & Materials to it. Mantain conditions cert assignment (QC15) for a particular material & customer.
Then, maintain Certificate Recipient (VV21) for output type defined in step-2.
Once all these settings done, create a delivery and system should fetch required output type & print
CoC.
Hope this will help.

In addition what Anup has mentioned, ensure following customization also.
QCC0 > Quality inspection > Inspection lot creation > Inspection at shipping > Assign Inspection Lot Origin to Delivery Type
Select appropriate delivery type and assign inspection lot origin as 10 there.
