Hello Experts,
My request is to unassembly a finished part that is already produced and put into stock. Let's say that the finished part is A and consists of components B and C.
The business wants to take A out of stock and unassembly it so they have B and C in stock instead of A.
How can that be done?

If you are referring to SAP ME product, then it can be done in As-built Configuration activity. Components can be unassembled and returned back to inventory.

Hi GAR,
If this scenario is an exceptional case and you do not have any process (production router) for it, then you really can use As-built Configuration activity. However, if this is a separate process and you want to track the SFC passing through its steps, then you are likely to apply RMA though at some step of RMA router you'll need to use As-built Configuration activity or NC Log with Remove Component.
