NCO3 connection to a Message Server Problems

Can someone provide the settings that are required to connect to a Message Server via NCO3 using the type RfcConfigParameters ?

I can connect directly to an AppServer via:

1. USER
2. PASSWD
3. CLIENT
4. LANG
5. SYSNR
6. ASHOST

However I can't find the magic combination for a Message Server.

Have you had any luck in figuring this out? I'm in the same situation, I need to connect to a message server, but it just doesn't work. Connecting to an Application Server directly works fine though.

I tried hard coding the values for the Message Server and adding it as a server but I get some strange errors. The most prominent one claiming that logon details may not be hard coded.

Any nudge in the right direction would be of unbelievable help.
