in sto process we will do replenishment delivery w.r.t PO, so how is item category determined in this case

Hi,

As u said we will be creating replenishment delivery, so the item category determination takes palce at delivery level, T-code: 0184, (Delivery Item category determination).

Standard is NL (Replenishment delivery).

U can define NL  NORM  CHSP(If batch management)  --> NLN (Standard delivery item category for replenishment delivery)

Assignment of this delivery type to Stock transport order is done in MM.

MM->Purchasing->Purchase order->Set up stock transfer order->Assign delivery type and checking rule.

Also u need to define plant as a customer and assign it at

MM->Purchasing->Purchase order->Set up stock transfer order->Define Shipping Data for Plants.

ok thankyou, but what about schedule line. we don't have any sales doc in this process, we require movement type

          incase if the schedule line is determined with the help of item category, then in which doc do we find schedule line eg nn

Hi,

Schedule line will only be in Sales order and these schedule lines are converted as line items in Delivery. A delivery will have Header and Line item data only -- no schedule lines. How ever it is an configuration where it has to determine schedule line NN (Standard) with Mvt. Type 641 while u do goods issue.
