Instead of going for SE91 suggestion already given, I would like you  to implement some control via user exit / BADI since changing the standard program is not recommended and even if you check with SAP, they will disagree

Hi Lakshmipathi,

i am currently getting a warning message "V1448". I want to configure an error message instead of warning message.

hi

In SAP standard it is not possible to change the warning message to error message for any sales related application through configuration . the only way is go to SE91 and follow the below steps.

1.Input the message class V1

2..Input the message no say 448 in no and execute

3.select the message no and click on where used list (ctrlshiftF3)

4.select the box programming and deselect all others

5. Then a list of programs where this error message is used will appear

6.Double click description on the right side of your screen

7.Here you can see the coding written for this message 448 which can be changed to warning to error.

pls contact the developer for changing  the warning message to error message

Thanks

Hello,

V1 448 Message is used in SAP Standard Program - MV45AF0D_DATUM_PRUEFEN_GUELTIG

If you want to convert this message in to a Error Message, you will have to change the SAP Standard code, which is by no means suggested or recommended.

Thus, I too go by Lakshmipathi's opinion & advise you to apply a User Exit which will generate a error message as per your requirement.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,
