Dear Experts

We have deployed the SRM 7.01 in the EP 7.3 and our backend system is ECC 6.0 with Ehp 5 (SRM system).

Assigned roles in the Portal and ECC for the users:

Portal -  Employee Self-Service (EhP1)

PFCG Roles in the backend system -   /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE_EHP1

We have referred the SAP Note: 1604194 and the following SCN thread.

http://scn.sap.com/thread/2090957

And still we are getting the issue, when we are clicking the Shop application under the Employee self – service.

Error:

  • The following error occurred in system Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.
  • The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
  • The ABAP call stack was:

I would request you to help us to solve the issue.

Hi Hari Prasath,

This dum is due to many reasons and it's tough to identify by seeing it. We need to do some analysis.

This isssue is with only employee serlf service role? R u abale to create SC with other roles like Operational purchaser?

If the issue is with only employee self servidce, did it worked before or not?

Also, what is the SC approval workflow? Application or BRF?

In case of BRF, please check the process level congiguration for BUS2121? are there any recent changes to approval workflows?

Please investivate the above points and let us know the details.

krish

Dear Krish

Thanks for your reply.

1.       This issue is with only employee serlf service role? R u able to create SC with other roles like Operational purchaser?

Shopping cart application is working fine in Portal if we are maintaining the SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW for the purchaser in the SRM system.

If I am maintaining the  /SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER_EHP1 – it   throwing an error related to   PPOMA_BBP - A pop is appearing related to attribute maintenance in PPOMA_BBP but we have checked in Organizational data that all attributes are maintained and when I do the check for attributes in SRM I do not get any error.

2.       If the issue is with only employee self servidce, did it worked before or not?

This is the new implementation of SRM 7.01 in the SAP Portal 7.3. After deploying SRM BP we have created one employee user and tested the shopping card under the ESS by assigning the corresponding EHP1 role in both SRM and Portal side.  It is showing error from the beginning.

3.       Also, what is the SC approval workflow? Application or BRF?

It is BRF

4.       In case of BRF, please check the process level configuration for BUS2121? Are there any recent changes to approval workflows?

So far there are no configurations changes made in the SRM system. It is auto approval based.

Kind Regards,

Hariprasath

Dear Experts

After assigning the user in the Org strucuture the issue got fixed.

Moreover the 7.01 is having the simplified shopping cart functionality. we need the full fledge functionality. so we have started to use SRM 7.0 roles in the Portal.

thanks for your reply.
