Hello,

We are working on GRC-AC v10.0 MSMP Workflow and the configuration screen popup does not work for the following SPRO Config step:

   -  Maintain MSMP Workflows

Any ideas as to the issue.

Thanks,

Hi John,

Need more details on the problem. Executing SPRO Node is not opening a screen or the opened screen has nothing ?

Make sure you have done the following:

  • Activated the SICF nodes (Public, BC, GRC nodes)
  • Performed Automatic workflow customizing
  • Performed Task Specific Customizing
  • Activated BC Set GRC_MSMP_CONFIGURATION
  • Opened the HTTP,HTTPS ports
  • All the above are covered as post installation steps (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-1560)

Hope this helps !! Let us know with more details if its not working.

Regards,

Ajesh.

Hi John,

You have not mentioned if you have verified the conifg I have mentioned. Addition to them check if you are missing any authorization.

Are you able to access nwbc screen from IE ?

Ajesh,

I have done everything and I can now access the NWBC screen from IE. But still cannot access the SPRO WF Config screen that is calling the following URL:

http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/public/myssocntl?sap-client=100

I have gone through and activated the SICF nodes. Is there one I am missing? Is SPRO calling the wrong URL?

Thanks!

Hi John,

The URL to access MSMP Config is:

http://<hostname>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/grfn_msmp_wfl_config?WDCONFIGURATIONID=GRFN_MSMP_COMP_...

The "<hostname>:<port>" part you can copy from the nwbc link.

SPRO redirecting to the above link is wrong. The redirecting problem has been discussed in the forum on other applications many times. Following are few which might help you solve your problem:

http://scn.sap.com/thread/3164068

http://scn.sap.com/thread/1433285

http://scn.sap.com/thread/1834435

http://scn.sap.com/thread/2112276

I would revisit and check if the fully qualified domain name is maintained right, ports are opened or not, and SSO parameters.

See if the above threads will help you solve the problem or else you can work with your basis team to solve the issue.

Let us know if this solved your problem

Ajesh,

That URL helped to directly go into the Config screen. Thanks for your assistance.

I am still working on the jump from SPRO config into the screen. I am guessing it has to do with the fully qualified domain or HTTPS not being setup properly, as during the logon for NWBC it states the following:

Protocol cannot be switched to HTPPS; HTTPS is not configured/active

No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password

I am having the same issue with tcode BRF+ (the screen is not passing the URL correctly), but tcode BRFPLUS works fine and passes the following URL:

http://[host]:[port]/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/fdt_wd_workbench?sap-language=EN&sap-client=100

Currently reviewing the following SAP Note for the HTTPS issue:

sapnote1590454 - ICF system logon, error message is displayed twice

Hi John,

Protocol cannot be switched to HTPPS; HTTPS is not configured/active

The above warning has nothing to do with the SPRO link error. The above warning come if you dont have HTTPS configured. You can still work with HTTP.

As you said the real reason might be with fully qualified domain name or local machine not able to resolve IP or SSO parameters.

Ajesh,

Fixing the domain names fixed the issue for the SPRO WF URL as well as tcode BRF+.

The HTTPS issue is still being worked, but is not a huge priority, as it is a sandbox and the application works fine.

Thanks for all your help on this.
