PC 10.0 Automated Monitoring Error

Former Member

Hi,

We are currently on PC 10.0 and building automated Rules. We are running into an error while scheduling using the 'Automated Monitoring'. The Business rules and connectors are working fine and we checked them using Ad-hoc query. The assignment of Business Rule to Control and Frequency are also appropriate.

The error we face is :

Field Catalog contains a column has no field name (column position = 0)

The system was unable to perform SEND_DATA  and so on............

Thanks for you help

Hi ANN,

where exactly this error is coming up? Is it a configurable Rule, if yes what table field combination have you used in data source?

Hi Rajeshwari,

I get this error after scheduling using 'Automated Monitoring'. The Job Status becomes Error and the Job Step Log shows the error:

Field Catalog contains a column has no field name (column position = 0)

The system was unable to perform SEND_DATA  and so on............

Yes, I did try Configurable Rule for the Table T000:

T000-MANDT

T000-CCNOCASCAD

T000-CCIMAILDIS

T000-CCCORACTIV

T000-CCCATEGORY

T000-CCCOPYLOCK

Thanks for helping out!

Hi ANN,

You can further check the SAP note 1672600.

If you still get  the same issue, you can provide us the CSS number if you have already created one.

Hi Rajeshwari,

We have already applied the note 1672600 and 1617920, but no luck.

But I think we have a lead here as the Issue does not exist when I remove a numeric Key field from Rule. Thanks for pointing that out.

We do have an OSS open for this one: 0000349350 2012

Thanks again!

Hi ANN,

we are faced with the same issue. Getting the failure message "Field catalog contains a
column has no field name (column position = 0)" by planning in a configurable rule and report.

The Target system is on higher SAP Release level than the GRC-System.

Did you find a way to solve the problem?

Thanks for your answer.

Hi,

We received the same error when the target system was upgraded with an older copy. The PC automated change log controls  were based on the configuration of the target system after the copy was made. In this case you will need to activate the table change log again on the target system
