Hi,

With which user did you run the R3trans -d command? From the logs as the environment variables are not set, the connection fails too. Login as <sid>adm user and try the same command.

Also what results did you get after starting the database as per Mahipal's instructions. Note for this you need to login as ora<sid> user

Hi Holger

Read below note for ENV information and check whether ENV were set as per note or not.

Note 556232 - Environment settings for R/3/Oracle on Windows

ERROR => Invalid profile parameter dbms/type (or environment variable dbms_type)

check dbms_type in ENV and dbms/type in profile.

Dear Holger

Please check below thread having same problem of listener serivce is not running.

http://scn.sap.com/thread/1672432

you better check in services.msc whether listener is running or not.

Your listener is not running,

ORA-12541: TNS:no listener

you need to start the listener before you can connect to Oracle.

logon as ora<sid> and start the listener using lsnrctl start

BTW, this is plain basic stuff, I recommend you to seek some training

Hi Juan

I have executed the command lsnrctl start and nothing has happened.

I  also have tried to perform lsnctl within sqlplus but it didn't work.

Mirza,

wrong answer.why would nayone put a saprouter string if you are not using it? see Best answer is green... to find a valid answer

If your logon pad is using saprouter string then try it without router string. you need to be privately connected to your server in same landscape or through VPN.

Not really sure about the circunstances of this error, but port 33XX is the gateway..

This could be a simple network problem, but you'll have to expand on the scenario so we can give you a more comprehensive answer.
